The Margam castle Environment was made in a month with modular pieces, and many different tiling materials, some small props were used from Quixel Megascans. It has two floors followed by natural lighting that allows us to see the model itself through the giant windows that surround it. I started with a BSP block out before modeling in my modular pieces using the program Maya. For the materials, I worked in Substance designer and created many tiling textures from Brick to concrete, all the way to the fabric. To finish off the specific spots I wanted on my concrete I used decals that I made in photoshop and darkened them to really make them more obvious. This environment was assembled all together in Unreal Engine 4 as a final and finished piece of this month.
